Bowling & Pool Activity Day

On Friday March 8th the Transition group went to St Croix Bowl for an activity day with the students from SAHS.

Fun was had by all.  Pool and bowling was offered at a discounted rate.  Plus it gave staff the opportunity to see bowling skills the students have learned through their local Special Olympics Bowling Program.

Staff also had the opportunity to meet SAHS students that will be coming to the Transition program next year.  It was a wonderful group activity to kick off the start of Spring Break week!

Repurposing Of The Little Library

On Wednesday, January 16th, the Stillwater Transition chapter of SkillsUSA participated in a community service event by repurposing the Little Library in front of ECFC. We spent weeks working hard to ensure that this looked the absolute best it could in memory of little Evie Kiester. We presented it to Karissa and her husband Brian Keister and it was such an honor for us to participate in a project that had such a big impact on us as a chapter. We hope to do something like this again in the future!
