Back In Session

Last week staff and students came back into our hybrid learning model Mondays through Thursdays from 7:45am to 2pm at the Oak Park Building.  Students are following guidelines of hand washing, social distancing, and wearing appropriate face masks or shields in their classrooms.

Thanks for the support parents!

Bridge Transition Program Back To Distance Learning Until Tuesday Oct.20th

While the overall numbers of confirmed COVID cases across the district have been low, we have had to move our first group of students into distance learning to slow the spread of the virus.

Over the past week our Bridge Transition Program, located at Oak Park, has seen an increase in student and staff illness and also had one lab-confirmed case of COVID-19. The Transition program serves a small number of 18 to 21 year old students, many of whom are considered high-risk for infection. As a safety precaution they'll move into distance learning from Monday, Oct. 5, 2020 through Tuesday, Oct. 20.

As the school year continues we’ll do our best to keep the community informed on what is happening related to COVID in our district. We’re currently working with local and state health experts to develop a consistent and valid way to share COVID case rates and quarantine data from our schools. Watch for that information to be shared soon.
